Aanname van Risiko
Camping and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, changing weather conditions, fire, wildlife, insects, water hazards, slips, trips and falls. Guests enter and use the campsite and all facilities entirely at their own risk and accept responsibility for their own safety and conduct during their stay.
Water Safety
All swimming, paddling and water activities in or around the Swartrivier are undertaken entirely at guests’ own risk. There are no lifeguards or supervised swimming areas on the property. Guests staying at Riverbed campsites acknowledge the close proximity of the river and accept responsibility for their own safety and that of all members of their group.
Children must be under constant adult supervision near the river, water’s edge and surrounding areas at all times. SwartRivierKamp accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage or accidents resulting from the use of the river or surrounding areas
Brandveiligheid
Fires are strictly limited to designated firepit and braai area only. Guests are responsible for the safe use and supervision of all fires and must ensure that fires are never left unattended and are fully extinguished after use.
Firewood must be purchased from SwartRivierKamp. Long-stay campers may supply their own wood with prior approval from management. Guests may not chop, collect or remove wood, branches or natural materials from the property at any time without express permission.
During periods of high fire risk or extreme weather conditions, management reserves the right to restrict or prohibit fires at any time. Failure to comply with fire safety rules may result in removal from the property and guests may be held liable for any loss, damage or harm caused by negligence or misuse of fire.
Aanspreeklikheidsbeperking
Guests stay at SwartRivierKamp at their own risk. SwartRivierKamp and its owners expressly disclaim all liability for any injury, illness, loss, theft, damage or inconvenience occurring on the property. This includes all individuals (adults and children) and animals staying at the campsite. Nothing in this disclaimer shall be construed to exclude liability that cannot be legally excluded under South African law.
Persoonlike verantwoordelikheid
Guests are responsible for the safety, supervision and security of their own belongings, vehicles, children, pets and visitors at all times while on the property. SwartRivierKamp accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, injury or accidents occurring during a guest’s stay.
